Husby's birthday is always a bit tricky. It's eleven days after mine and Valentine's Day is smack in the middle of the two. I always tell him that the degree of awesome-ness of his birthday will depend on how awesome my birthday and/or Valentine's is. But really, I just want to plan any party/get together/shebang/shindig. So I am just full of empty threats.

This year, after many half hearted attempts to have dinner and drinks at The Tardis Room, I finally just planned for us and some friends to go for his birthday dinner. (I think sharing food/breaking bread is Husby's love language) It was suppose to be a surprise but about a week before the secret was let out. Oh well. 48% of all surprise parties are spoiled before they happen**.

Long story short: really good food. But be ready to pay for it (money-wise and time - everything is cooked to order, hence the deliciousness). But if you go, get the onion rings. Oh man. Drooool.

I love any reason for celebrating and Husby is a great reason!

And now some photos! (BTW, the Tardis Room is inspired by Dr. Who. If you don't know Dr. Who, and you have Netlflix, you should probably start here.)

**I just completely made that up

Tardis Lamp!

"It's bigger on the inside."

Sonic Screwdriver, 11th Doctor. Pricy, but tasty!

Cute little cake, compliments of Safeway bakery ; )

  1. This was such a great idea you had planned for him! It looks like (& reads like) you had a great time celebrating :)
