Day 23.

A picture that describes your life.

I apologize.

I got nothing.

Wednesday, March 30, 2011

Day 22.

A picture of something you were better at.

It may seem simple, but making chocolate chip cookies.
Yes, I can bake some things, but these darn things just never come out like I want them to and really are based off my mood. (happy=prettier cookies; sad/mad= sad cookie goop).

I have found one that I can make consistently, but they aren't my favorite. The taste is good, but I'm still lacking in texture.

I found a recipe for these cookies and they look perfect to me so I'll have to try it out.

I should have put 'running' for today, but who wants to look at some fit person running (because there are NO pictures of me doing it).

Meh, I'd rather look at cookies.

Day 21.

A picture that makes you think of your loved one.

Because he's native and loves America with his whole heart.

Monday, March 28, 2011

Day 20.

A picture of where you want to honeymoon

Well, if we hadn't married in the winter we would have loved an Alaskan cruise...but this is where we ended up! (not too shabby, either.)

Lovely Kaua'i.

Day 19.

A picture of your favorite musical instrument.

Well, I can't really pick just one, so I went with one I really want to learn how to play.

The Autoharp.

Day 18.

A picture of your room.

Well the top two and the bottom left is the bedroom and then the bottom right is my awesome walk-in closet/our storage room.

We live the high life.

[Insert] the bride...please.

So, in all the hustle and bustle of the wedding, we forgot to get a whole wedding party group shot. Spencer got one with the guys and gals...but no luck for me. (So, make sure to give a list to your photographer! I have someone to blame...but I won't).

Anyway, I was real bummed that we didn't have a whole group shot. So I had to work with what I have on this dinosaur computer. I don't think it's too bad...haha...considering all I had was Paint! So, when I get a fast computer - or at least one that won't break down trying to run Photoshop - we'll try this again.

Until then, it's not too bad...right?

Day 17.

A picture of something that means a lot to you.

This walk.
This place.

The people I met.
The four years spent here.

What I love Wednesday: 2.

1. Boots. Belts. Big curls. Basically, I want to be as cute as her.
2. Cake plates. So versatile. So many different looks. I love the color on this one.
3. This dress from JC Penney. (which I may have bought...whoops!) I wish I had a summer wedding so this could be my dress. But since I was not feeling like hot stuff on the actual day, this dress will be worn in warmer weather when we can have an on-site photo shoot somewhere pretty.
And now I have a new Easter dress. Bazinga!
4. Swirls + wrought iron. These make me want a garden. Or at least a bistro or something. They are darling. They can be found here.

What are you loving on this Wednesday?

Day 16.

A picture of someone who inspires you.

This is Adam Langford.
He is pretty much one of the greatest people I have had the chance to meet.
He reminds me daily how we all should be willing (because we are able) to suffer for Christ.

Day 15.

Oh no! I suck. I didn't even make it until day twenty before I forgot to do a day!
Oh well. What can you do....
Anyways, carry on...

Day 9.

A picture of what you had for lunch.

-Soup from a can. (I am so classy, I know.)
One day I will make real soup. But until then, I will enjoy soup in a can because I know nothing better.

Like I need an explanation.
Really, anything like this gets me...even the dang preview to the "Coming Home" show. I just can't even handle it.

Day 6.

A picture that inspires you.

“Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery – celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from – it’s where you take them to.”

- Jim Jarmusch

Well, not so much a picture per se, but a quote that I stumbled upon...I love it. I live it.
Thank you Jim Jarmusch whoever you are.

Do you ever get dressed and then realize everything you're wearing is from the same place?

Well, that is me today.

I represent Target today, hopefully well.
The locket is from F21 though, and I'm not sure where I got the bracelet - I've had it forever.

Target: Tank, Cardigan, Skirt, Boots ($7 clearance might I add!)

Day 5.

A picture of your morning.

Panda cuddle time.
This is actually most mornings.

Spencer gets up to play video games and I get the whole bed for a few hours :)
